Why the medical setting matters
Neuromodulators and fillers are prescription products. Laser resurfacing carries real risk of burns and pigmentation change, particularly in deeper skin tones and particularly when device settings are wrong. These are medical procedures that happen to be elective and cosmetic.
Being performed by licensed professionals in a clinic that also handles your labs and your medical history is not a marketing point. It is the difference between a provider who knows you are on an anticoagulant and one who does not.
Expectations and recovery
Results vary between individuals and between treatments, and no aesthetic procedure produces identical outcomes across people. Downtime depends heavily on which treatment and which settings — fractional laser and a neuromodulator appointment are not comparable.
Timing matters too. Sun exposure before and after laser treatment affects both safety and result, which is worth planning around on this stretch of coast.

As an emergency physician, I noticed that most of the people who came into the emergency department were there because of either a lack of information or difficult lifestyle choices. I couldn’t change people’s choices, but I could help those who simply hadn’t been taught how to care for themselves — so I started a clinic built around teaching people how to be healthy. In 2011, I attended my first regenerative medicine seminar. I followed the field for several years, attended more seminars, and in 2017 began offering regenerative therapy in my clinic. Education has always been at the heart of my work, and I believe deeply in what we do. I’m always glad to sit down with a patient, answer questions honestly, and talk through whether our approach might be right for them.
