Driving there
The venue is on upper State Street, the main commercial corridor running from the waterfront up through downtown. The Arlington and the surrounding blocks are within walking distance, and the downtown parking structures are the practical option here rather than street parking.
From the 101, the Carrillo Street and Mission Street exits both connect quickly to State. Attendees from Montecito and Carpinteria come up the 101 southbound side; Goleta and Isla Vista attendees come down from the north.
Transit and parking
This is the easiest venue to reach without a car. The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner stops at Santa Barbara station, a short walk or MTD ride down State Street, and MTD's downtown shuttle runs the length of the corridor. The downtown parking structures offer a free initial period — check current signage, as the terms have changed more than once.

Pismo Beach is the next venue north up the 101. Attendees from the Santa Ynez Valley typically come over the 154 rather than round through Gaviota.
